Tools of the Trade:
Tools of the Trade are a series of training modules designed to build the capacity of staff to effectively meet the needs of their diverse student populations and to improve the overall well-being of students.
The Anti-bullying Program provides technical assistance to Districts, utilizing best practice recommendation for prevention, to build the infrastructure necessary to identify, respond to and track bullying at the site level. The Prevention Training modules examine the problem of bullying, highlight effective intervention and prevention strategies, and provide staff with practical examples and techniques for interrupting all forms of bullying.
Compliance Training Modules:
The Compliance Training modules provide up-to-date information and training on the legal requirements that must be followed to ensure that the actions of staff and the Governing Board comply with the law, protect the rights of students, and reduce the risk of potential liability.
Sexual Harassment Training Modules:
The Equity training modules will increase staff awareness of the role race plays in the achievement and opportunities of students of color, identify the institutional practices that continue to lead to disproportionate outcomes for students of color, and teach staff skills to improve their practice and improve the educational outcomes for all children.
e-Learning Training Modules:
Our online courses provide effective and timely technical assistance to Districts, utilizing best practices to help you and your staff comply with the federal and state-mandated legal requirements that protect the rights of students, reduce the risk of potential liability, and create an inclusive and welcoming environment for all students and staff. These courses are available individually or you can contact us to create a learning program that best meets your long term needs.
